The George Pub - now undergoing refurbishment!
Update: July 2026
A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the Auction of Promises. The amount raised exceeded our expectations and will be put towards the refurbishment of the main pub area. With works to the new kitchen nearing completion, attention is focused on finalising plans for the main pub and getting quotes for this next phase of the restoration.
Update: November 2025
Our application for Listed Building Consent has been approved and came through in mid-September. The next step, once the Coach House is up and running, is to draw up plans and budgets for the work on the pub itself.
