Here is the procedure:

 *Ring 999 to give problem and location. (If you don’t have to hand they can also give you the code given below to open the outer cabinet and gain access to the defibrillator) 

*Someone needs to do manual CPR on the patient whilst the second person goes to the box to collect the defibrillator. The code is C01858.

 *Once home follow the audio instructions from the defibrillator until the ambulance service or first responders arrive.

*Once used please return all the equipment to the cabinet, if an ambulance crew is in attendance they will probably do this for you.

* Then, most importantly, when you have time, please inform a member of the Ashley Parish Council that the unit has been used as they will need to order a new charge stick and set of pads.
